We successfully hosted HR Seminar 2026 on campus in collaboration with the Indian Society for Training & Development, bringing together leading voices from academia and industry to reflect on the future of work. Centred on the theme “Transforming Work and Workforce Expectations: The New People Agenda,” the seminar created a space for honest conversations around changing employee expectations, hybrid work cultures, skill transformation, and the growing role of technology in HR practices.
A proud moment for the University was the felicitation ceremony conducted by the ISTD Dehradun Chapter. Mr Mohit Aggarwal, President, DBS Global University, was honoured with the Educational Award for his significant contribution to education and institutional development.
During his address, Dr Sanjay Jasola spoke about how technology is reshaping organisational structures and redefining workforce readiness. The keynote sessions and panel discussions explored hybrid workplace models, talent reinvention, leadership transitions, and building future-ready HR systems.
The seminar also featured insights from prominent HR leaders and industry experts, including Mr Nitin Khindria, CHRO, Omega Seiki Mobility; Dr Radhesh Suri, Former Founding Director, IGPI, Delhi; Mr Rajeev K Thukral, Thukral Growth Advisory, New Delhi; Ms Ankita Sharma Suri, Regional Vice President North, ISTD; and Mr Rajendra Singh, Secretary, ISTD Dehradun.
HR Seminar 2026 stood out as more than just a formal gathering. It became a meaningful exchange of ideas, reflecting how institutions and organisations must rethink people strategies in a rapidly evolving world of work.
