Bagpackers Club

Introduction

The Bagpackers' Club is a student and faculty-driven community at DBS Global University that brings together like-minded adventurers passionate about trekking, camping, and exploring the great outdoors.

The club aims to provide opportunities to explore various cultures and the picturesque Himalayas of Uttarakhand and Himachal. In today's world of chaos and constant stimulation, it's hard to quiet the mind and think. Getting into nature offers a way to find some silence and clarity, an important tool to counter the pressures of modern life.

The more pressure we put on ourselves, the more our health degrades. The Bagpackers' Club exists to remind students that the mountains are always calling, and the trail is the best classroom.

What Students Can Gain

Members of the Bagpackers' Club gain far more than just travel memories. They benefit in the following ways:

  • Improved physical fitness and mental well-being through regular outdoor activities and treks.
  • Enhanced teamwork, communication, and leadership skills developed in challenging terrain.

I am really thankful towards our college and placement cell, for supporting and providing us opportunities to learn interview skills, communication skills and guiding us in placements. The staff was supportive and informed us with enough notice regarding every placement drive.

It is a great experience being at DBSGU. Our CDC department has helped a lot during the process of placement. They make sure that each student is well prepared for the interview.
