The club blends technical training with practical experience, from rehearsals to live performances, building both talent and confidence.
Members take part in workshops, skits, plays, and cultural events, developing teamwork, discipline, and expressive abilities. The club encourages experimentation and bold performances, allowing students to bring stories to life while learning essential life skills such as communication, empathy, and leadership.
Mr. Bisht's passion for theatre blossomed at an early age, and since then, he has been an active participant in various prestigious drama festivals and events. Notably, he showcased his prowess at the Bharat Rang Mahotsav organized by the esteemed National School of Drama in 2016 and further impressed audiences at Sahitya Kala Parishad in 2017 and Betla Mahotsav in Jharkhand in 2018. His creative vision and expertise shone brightly during the Mimesis solo theatre festival organized by Sansaptak. Apart from his stage presence, Sachin is also an exceptional director, having successfully directed 20 full-length stage plays. Sachin's dedication to promoting the arts is evident through his role as a workshop conductor and facilitator. He has conducted various engaging workshops for institutions such as the National Gallery of Modern Arts in Delhi, Balashram in Virat Nagar, Rajasthan, and even conducted the “Mind’s Eye” workshop for kids, inspiring young minds to explore the world of creativity and imagination.
Prof. Jaiveer Tyagi is an accomplished academician and media professional with extensive expertise in mass communication, media production, and performing arts. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Himgiri Zee University, he is UGC NET and CTET 2021 qualified, holding postgraduate degrees in Mass Communication and English Literature. He also holds a Basic Teaching Certificate (BTC) and graduated with honors in Mass Communication from Sai Institute of Paramedical & Allied. An experienced theatre artist, Prof. Tyagi has performed with the Sai Kala Manch Theatre Group and other renounced groups, honing his skills in acting and dramatics. This background complements his expertise in radio production, voice-overs, and storytelling. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Mass Communication Department at DBS Global University, Dehradun, Prof. Tyagi has earned the Best Faculty Award three times. He actively mentors students as the Patron of DBS’s Volleyball, Phoenix Media, and Photography Clubs, and coordinates the MA Mass Communication program. Prof. Tyagi's research interests include community radio and social media integration, with published work in peer-reviewed journals and ongoing contributions to books and seminars; he has also attended and presented papers in various national and international Conferences and seminars. His technical skills include video production, photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. Blending academic excellence, industry experience, and a passion for performing arts, Prof. Tyagi remains a dedicated mentor, fostering creativity
As the president of Dramatics Club, Advik has a vision to foster creativity, inclusivity, and teamwork within the club, inspiring members to explore their artistic potential while delivering high-quality theatrical performances that entertain, educate, and unite the community. He carries major responsibilities like leadership, planning, representation, coordination, member development, conflict resolution, resource management and vision implementation. He also takes care of promoting performances and activities to engage a larger audience, encouraging creative ideas and experimentation in scripts, direction, and production and building a sense of camaraderie and ensure every member feels valued and heard.
As the Vice President of the college’s Dramatics Club, Ujjwal is driven by a deep passion for acting, voice over and storytelling. His journey in theater includes writing compelling short films and thought-provoking nukkad nataks, alongside enriching his skills through an NSD workshop. He believes that theater is more than just a stage—it’s a powerful tool to inspire and transform. Ujjwal’s mission is to help people overcome their fears, find their voice, and build unshakable confidence through the magic of performance.
