DBS Global University has a well stocked library and a rich repository of journals and periodicals for the benefit of students and faculty. This is one facility that sees regular additions.
E-Library
DGU is digitizing content for all the courses so that students can refer to the main content as well as reference books at their convenience from anywhere. DGU is planning to use the latest multimedia and IP multicast technology and software to provide a robust backbone to the e-library.
The DGU Library System comprises a Central Library and 1 departmental library that collectively support the teaching, research and extension programmes of the university.
Central-Library is a very special place in the DGU Campus with its rich collection of books and journals in the field of Management, Science, Technology and other related areas. The efficiency and effectiveness of our electronic resources and our professional services. Library stands as a unique Knowledge Centre that offers access to essential and specialized information resources and services to meet the growing information needs. LLibrary currently houses over 25000 Volumes of books and 20000 e-books. The Library Subscribes 15 numbers of National and International Journals and magazines. Library provides access to e-journals databases like EBSCO and DELNET etc. Oher resources include Videos, Audios, CDs, DVD, Question Papers, Thesis and Project Reports. Being fully computerised with 3M Security, it provides seamless access to many user oriented services and e- resources round the clock.

Library Security System
An integrated scanner reads almost any barcode location on books, videos, magazines, CDs and DVDs, and desensitizes them to eliminate unwanted alarms.
General Rules
- The Library user shall not engage in audible conversation in any part of the Library
- A person shall not write upon, damage or mark any book belonging to the Library
- A person responsible for any damage caused by him / her to the books or any other property belonging to the Library, shall be required to pay the penalty imposed upon him/her by the Librarian
- The Security Guard at the Library gate will check all personal belongings including Library books issued to a member
- Personal book(s) shall not be allowed inside the Library. Please leave them at the Property Counter
- Use of mobile phone in the Library is prohibited
- The reader should check the books before borrowing to ensure that these are not damaged. If a book is found to be damaged or certain pages are missing, the borrower should get this statement recorded on the book, otherwise he/she shall be held responsible for the damage, discovered at the time of returning the books
- Smoking, pan chewing and spitting in the library is prohibited.
- Photography is not allowed
- Membership privileges of a user can be suspended on account of misbehaviour with the Library staff or for indecent manners.

Health and Medical Facilities: Prioritizing Student Well-being
At DBS Global University, the health and safety of our students are paramount. We have partnered with some of Dehradun’s leading hospitals to ensure that students have access to reliable medical facilities during emergencies.
To make medical care seamless and stress-free, each student, upon admission, can avail of a Cashless Mediclaim Card (on a payment basis). This card provides cashless treatment options at the following top-tier hospitals in Dehradun

For minor emergencies or first-aid requirements

- Emergency Ambulance Services
Uttarakhand offers an efficient, free-of-cost 108 Ambulance Service that operates 24/7. Students can avail of this service for transportation to hospitals during emergencies.
Students can walk into any of these hospitals during a medical emergency and receive treatment without worrying about upfront payments.
Important Guidelines
While we provide access to essential medical resources, the institute cannot take complete medical responsibility for students. Therefore, we advise
- Parents and students to ensure they have a local guardian in Dehradun for personal care and support during emergencies.
- Outstation students to stay in regular touch with their families and guardians to ensure timely assistance when required.

- Wide Doorways and Corridors: Ensuring doorways and corridors are wide enough for wheelchairs.
Activities Center is a place where you can do various Activities such as Yoga, Meditation & get engaged in multi disciplinary activities.
