Rotaract Club
Introduction
The Rotaract Club at DBS Global University connects students to a global community of young leaders who believe in service, leadership, and personal growth. It provides a space where students can build social awareness, take up meaningful initiatives, and learn by working alongside peers and mentors from varied backgrounds.
Members actively engage in projects that respond to real community needs, ranging from local service efforts to international collaborations. Through these experiences, the club helps students strengthen leadership, teamwork, and project management skills, while also building networks that extend well beyond the university.

World's Aids Day, like many other sensitive topics aids is also a topic which is less touched but the Rotaract Club of Doon Business School on the account of world Aids Day, spread awareness about Aids and that we should be safe and not biased with the people who have aids but try to help the people who feel left out because they have Aids. The members of the 11 Rotaract Club gave away the red ribbon, which is the universal symbol of awareness and support for people living with HIV to all the facilities and students, and we hereby pledge to spread awareness about Aids and not make anyone feel biased because they have aids.

To honor International Day For Elimination of Violence Against Women , Rotaract Club of Doon Business School Oraganized a Nukkad Natak on the same ,with a mission to make an impact on the young minds and to make them aware that still this evil of domestic voilence and harassment against women is prevailing , and alsi informed everyone about their fundamental rights and how our constitution can help them. We Also assured them that if miss treated they can reach out to us at any point of time , we will try our best to provide them with legal aid and support.

Project Name: Food Donation Drive
Date: 16th October 2022
On World Food Day, RAC DBS organized a food camp in a slum area near Jhajra, The event was divided into two parts. In the first part, we served hot and hygienically prepared food, and distributed fruits and biscuits to the residents of that slum, and in the second part, our team of rotaractors interacted with the mothers and asked them about the day-to-day meals they prepare for their families and provided them with some helpful insights about nutrition and importance of healthy diet for physical and mental growth.

Project Name: Peacock Adoption

Rotaract Club of Doon Business School adopted a peacock in Dehradun Zoo for one of the causes of the wall of goodwill initiative. The purpose of this adoption is to help the government and also the agencies working towards animal welfare. The club took this initiative under the guidance of Rtn. Tarun Bhatia Sir who helped the club with the required procedure for the same. Ranger Sir (Zoo in charge) has also been very supportive throughout the process. A plaque board has also been set up to address the adoption of the peacock.

Project Name: Plantation

An initiative by RAC-DBS to avail the citizens of the necessity of planting! In order to reach a wide area, we were very much open for collaborations and we collaborated with 1 Gwalior based NGO, and 1 college club for spreading our project to a wider area.
There is a group made by Rotaract Club of MITFGC- RID 3181, connecting 89 Rotaract clubs from different parts of India, with the help of this grp we have collaborated with 72 Rotaract club, mostly from Karnataka region, and accomplished the goal of planting 1100 saplings around the country.
