Dr Ranjana Sharma is an Associate Professor of Finance at DBS Global University, Dehradun, with over 27 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She specialises in financial accounting, managerial finance, sustainable finance, and behavioural finance, integrating AI and modern analytical tools to create an engaging and practical learning environment. She has authored 30 research papers, contributed to multiple book chapters, written two textbooks, and holds 2 patents in her hands. Dr Sharma has guided over 500 student projects and currently supervises several PhD scholars, emphasising critical thinking and real-world applications.

An active researcher and conference participant, Dr. Sharma works on ESG investing, digital payments, and behavioral decision-making. Beyond academics, she has served as the Patron of the Fit Don’t Quit Wellness Club for five years and actively contributes to the Student Grievance and Discipline Committees. Her work combines academic rigor with practical relevance, inspiring students to excel, innovate, and apply sustainable, technology-driven solutions in finance and business.
