Dr. Vishant Kumar is an academician and technology researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the School of Advanced Computing, DBS Global University, Dehradun. With strong expertise in Data Structures, Cloud Analytics, Data Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT), he is dedicated to integrating emerging technologies into teaching, research, and industry-oriented learning environments.

Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with research focused on intelligent road safety systems using IoT sensor networks and machine learning models, addressing critical challenges related to road safety. His research interests include machine learning, computer vision, intelligent transportation systems, cloud-based analytics, and IoT-enabled predictive systems.

At DBS Global University, he actively contributes to academic leadership, curriculum development, and program coordination, aligning programs with NEP guidelines and industry expectations. He strongly advocates experiential and project-based learning, mentoring students through live industry projects, hackathons, and research-driven initiatives to develop practical problem-solving and analytical skills.
