Students of Department of Agriculture and Forestry, DBS Global University, actively participated in Vasantotsav 2026, a state-level spring festival held at Lok Bhawan, Dehradun from 27–29 February 2026.

The students showcased their skills in Hydroponic Competition, Flower Rangoli Competition, Hanging Pot Competition, and also presented value-added food products through an exhibition stall under the Experiential Learning Programme (ELP). B.Tech students showcased drone technology during the event, demonstrating the application of modern technologies in agriculture and allied sectors . The B.Sc. team secured Third Prize in the Hydroponic Competition, reflecting their technical knowledge and teamwork.

The students participated in the event under the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Shweta Nawani, Dr. Manish Maan, Ms. Vaishnavi Sharma, and Dr. Nidhi Rawat, whose support and supervision helped the students effectively showcase their innovations and technical skills.

The event was graced by Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.) and Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, along with several dignitaries from the state government and horticulture department.
