The Department of Agriculture and Forestry, DBS Global University, observed World Pangolin Day to raise awareness about the conservation of pangolins, one of the most endangered and trafficked mammals in the world.
During the event, students were sensitized about the ecological importance of pangolins, the threats posed by illegal wildlife trade and habitat loss, and the need for stronger conservation efforts. The program encouraged students to understand their role in protecting wildlife and promoting biodiversity conservation.
The initiative aimed to strengthen awareness among young scholars about the importance of wildlife protection and sustainable management of forest ecosystems.
