Working as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the project entitled "Robot-assisted assembly and disassembly to facilitate the remanufacturing and reuse of products (REMANUFACTURING) + Structured Representation Learning for Vision", at SMACT Lab, NOI Tech Park, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.

Duties and Responsibilities

To develop advanced perception enabling human-robot collaboration.
Design and develop algorithms for human tracking and action recognition.
Capture and record video from fixed cameras along with video and sensor streams from VR glasses worn by humans.

Develop methods as perception components in a human-robot collaboration demonstrator.
Speed up the human-robot collaboration process and reduce labor costs.

Previous Research Experience

Worked as a Senior Research Fellow (8 August 2013 – 13 October 2020) in a major research project under UGC SAP-II, DRS Phase-II, sponsored by the Government of India, titled "Multimodal Biometric System Development".
