Working as a Postdoctoral Researcher on the project entitled "Robot-assisted assembly and disassembly to facilitate the remanufacturing and reuse of products (REMANUFACTURING) + Structured Representation Learning for Vision", at SMACT Lab, NOI Tech Park, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • To develop advanced perception enabling human-robot collaboration.
  • Design and develop algorithms for human tracking and action recognition.
  • Capture and record video from fixed cameras along with video and sensor streams from VR glasses worn by humans.
  • Develop methods as perception components in a human-robot collaboration demonstrator.
  • Speed up the human-robot collaboration process and reduce labor costs.
Previous Research Experience

Worked as a Senior Research Fellow (8 August 2013 – 13 October 2020) in a major research project under UGC SAP-II, DRS Phase-II, sponsored by the Government of India, titled "Multimodal Biometric System Development".
